Boone and Crockett (B&C) – Hunter-conservationist organization formed by Theodore Roosevelt in 1887. Today, they offer the most widely used and acceptable method for scoring both typical and non-typical deer antlers.

Bureau of Land Management – U.S. agency responsible for managing over 253 million acres of land within the country. According to the agency, their mission is to “sustain the health, diversity and productivity of the public lands for the use and enjoyment of present and future generations.”

Field and Stream.com – One of the largest and most popular outdoor sporting magazines in the world with an emphasis on hunting and fishing. Today, they boast an impressive one million monthly readers.

International Hunter Education Association – Nonprofit educational organization focused on educating hunters and the general public on ethics, conservation ans safety. Currently, they have over 70,000 instructors teaching 750,000 students annually.

Mule Deer Foundation – Founded in 1988 by Emmett Burroughs, the Mule Deer Foundation is a 501(c)3 wildlife conservation organization with a focus aimed at protecting the wild mule deer. During the mid 1980s, both the mule deer and black-tailed deer saw their  populations decline to frightening low numbers as a result of extremely cold winters and other environmental conditions. The Mule Deer Foundation was then started to combat this problem and give the mule deer a second chance.

Pope and Young Club – Wildlife conservation organization dedicated to the sport of bowhunting. They remain the leading choice of antler scoring for deer harvested by bow and arrow.

Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation (RMEF) – Founded in 1984 by Bob Munson, Bill Munson, Dan Bull and Charlie Decker, RMEF is a hunting conservation organization dedicated to ensuring the future of the North American Elk and other wildlife.

Safari Club International (SCI) – Founded in 1973 by C.J. McElroy, Safari Club International is an international wildlife conservation organization ran by hunters. Unlike many other organizations, SCI places emphasis on wild game native to Africa, such as elephants, rhinoceros, lions, jaguars, etc.

The Wildlife Society – Nonprofit wildlife conservation organization aimed to create a balanced world where humans and animals can coexist with one another.

Wildlife Management Institute – Established in 1911, The Wildlife Management Institute is a nonprofit conservation organization with a primary goal to improve the foundation of wildlife management.
